#Huskers D-coordinator Mark Banker was pretty frank today about Indiana "doing whatever they can do" to steal defensive signals.

Banker: If they dont get them during the game, they get them during the snap, and then actually call the play at the line of scrimmage."

Banker said stealing defensive signals is nothing new or different. Cited several examples from his days in Pac-12. Didn't seem bothered.

How does Banker know Hoosiers steal defensive signals? "Coaching is a very tight fraternity," he said. "Word gets around."

Banker offered kudos to balance of Indiana offense and ability to control the game. Common misperception is Hoosiers only throw. They don't.

Banker: "Theyve got a potent run game zone, stretch, a little bit of counter sweep in there, rotation of three backs." #Huskers

I don't think Banker's comments about signal stealing is exactly earth-shattering stuff, folks. For any team, any sport. Change signals?

I also don't think "stealing" signals is cheating. If you can decipher it and want to rely on it, hey, try it. Part of the game, really.
