Senators’ defenseman Thomas Chabot looks ready to return vs. Canadiens
It looks like Thomas Chabot will be back in time to play his favorite childhood team. Chabot practiced on Tuesday taking reps with the Senators’ first-team powerplay unit. The former 18th overall pick missed Ottawa’s Game 1 win over the Canadiens on Sunday after sitting out the Senators’ loss to the Maple Leafs on Thursday with an upper-body injury. Chabot has three goals and nine points in 17 games this season and leads Ottawa logging over 25 minutes a game. No other Senator is playing more than 22, so Chabot is clearly a huge part of the team on both ends of the ice.
The Sens have played Montreal really well this season, so it’s not a bad idea to give the Ottawa blueliner a look at FanDuel DFS. Chabot holds a fair price tag of $5800 and should be amped up returning to play his former favorite team.
