Big Red Blitz Tickets to be Distributed in Fremont and Norfolk
Nebraska fans in Norfolk and Fremont should mark their calendars for Thursday, May 16 for their opportunity to get tickets for the 2019 Big Red Blitz presented by First National Bank.
Members of the Husker Spirit Squad will be distributing tickets in both communities on May 16 for the upcoming Big Red Blitz events. The Big Red Blitz will make stops in Norfolk and Fremont on May 30, and will feature Head Football Coach Scott Frost, Men’s Basketball Head Coach Fred Hoiberg and Athletic Director Bill Moos.
Fans wishing to attend the events in Norfolk and Fremont can pick up free tickets at First National Bank locations in those towns on May 16. Ticket distribution in Norfolk will take place from 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. at the First National Bank location at 1500 Market Lane. Later in the afternoon, Fremont residents can secure their tickets from 3-5 p.m. at the First National Bank location at 152 East 6th Street.
Both the Norfolk and Fremont events have a capacity of 800 people with the tickets available on a first-come, first-served basis. Individuals will be limited to four tickets per person, and any remaining tickets following the May 16 distribution will be available at First National Bank branches in the two towns.
Tickets also remain available for the evening Big Red Blitz event at the Strategic Air Command Museum just outside of Ashland. Tickets for the event ($20) are available through Huskers.com and are limited to 1,000 Nebraska fans. The Big Red Blitz stop at SAC will include heavy hors d’oeuvres and a cash bar.
Each of the Big Red Blitz stops will be approximately 90 minutes and include a short program, giving fans a chance to hear from Frost, Hoiberg and Moos. Fans will also have a chance to interact with other coaches and Nebraska staff during the events.
The Big Red Blitz locations are in areas of the state directly impacted by the devastating March floods in Nebraska.
