Huskers Drop Big 12 Contest at Iowa State, 71-61

NOTES:
** Nebraska was limited to 37.3 percent shooting from the floor overall, despite hitting 50.0 percent in the first half. It was the fourth time in five conference games that the Huskers did not reach the 40.0 percent plateau.

** The Huskers had 17 shots blocked, the most ever allowed to an opponent. The 17 blocked shots are a Big 12 Conference record, breaking NU's mark of 15 against Coppin State in 1995. It also topped the former Big Eight record of 16.

** Sophomore Corey Simms had 12 points in the first half, and finished with 13, for his sixth double-figure scoring effort of the season.

** The Huskers' 11-0 run midway through the first half was their seventh double-figure run of the season.

** Sophomore John Turek recorded a team-high 11 rebounds, his sixth double-figure rebounding effort of the season.

** Nebraska outrebounded the Cyclones by a 36-30 margin. It was just the second time in five conference games the Huskers held an advantage on the glass.

** The Huskers tied their season low with just 13 personal fouls.

** Freshman Jason Dourisseau lead NU with a season-high three steals, as the Huskers finished with nine, just one off their season high.
